Parents workout while kids workout

Time is of the essence in so many ways. How can we make more of it? This is an interesting question that is worth asking, but I don't intend to get to philosophical. As far as I know, there is only one place in town that allows parents time to get in shape or stay in shape while their kids do the same. Why not take advantage? We can accomplish two very important things at once! Literally, how much more efficient can you get?

Let me tell you about the added benefit. Imagine being up about 15 feet in the air hanging on a rope and dead tired. Imagine your son looking at you while you are doing that. Well, that happened to me. Did I tell you that I was about to quit on the rope climb? Would that have been a good example to my son? Of course not. So, what did I do? I climbed the rope and finished the workout. What a great opportunity to show him how to persevere. That was a perfect model about not giving up to my son. I now use that to continue to teach him about grit and the never give up attitude.

Come wrestle and come improve!
